Playground N
2020-

Collaborative Installation & Performance with the Sono-Choreographic Collective : Bnaya Halperin-Kaddari, Kerstin Ergenzinger & Kiran Kumar
5' excerpt from a 20' performance at klingt gut! HAW, Hamburg, 15.05.2021:
Opening performance at HBK Gallery, 1.2.2022 , Braunschweig :
Playground N is a sono-choreographic environment in which the Sono-Choreographic Collective´s family of custom-made electromagnetic and acoustic spin-tops are variously tuned and played to continuously hold a spin.
Sonified gravity and voice are being spatialised, while a live-video feed closely observes the tactile and kinetic behaviors of the instruments and their instrumentalists. The resulting audio-visual-textual polyphony makes a hybrid form: a musical performance capturing the collective's process, and a sound installation, reminice of the performance.
